So what’s the secret? You might ask. When you have started to write a blog post on your blog, you want it to be alluring to readers. You want to write irresistible contents. You even set up the captivating design of your website. Don’t fall for a trap just because you have an awesome website design, audiences want to visit your website. It’s a myth. If you don’t have quality contents that serve the readers, design won’t do a thing.
Secrets of Writing A Quality Blog Post
1. Know your niche
We talked about this in our previous article. Nevertheless, we are going to talk about it again because it is important. Identify what your blog post should be about. It can be anything like your passions, what you love doing, fashions, music and so on. Write what you know best. You can also research the subject matter before writing.
2. Know your audiences
This point is quite imperative if you want to become a serious blogger. Your audiences matters. Don’t take them for granted.
Ask yourself these questions. To Whom is your writing for? And for what purpose? Will your blog post serve the readers? Ask the above questions to figure out what they want from you or what you want them to know about. Once you figured that out, writing the contents will not be that elusive. Also, keep tracking your contents. Keep a track of which of your contents get more traffic and write accordingly.
3. Headlines
We have discussed this in our previous articles. Bang with a headline. You can think about headlines before or after your contents. If you give a killer headlines to your each content, most of the time, readers coerce themselves to know about what the post is really about. They can’t help themselves but click those links. However, if your post has boring headlines, readers don’t think it is worth their time to click the link.
4. Introduction, body, and conclusion
You might have come across various articles on the internet. Mostly from professional bloggers. They present their blog post with enticing contents. Do you want to know their secret? They write with introduction part, body part and conclusion part so that it will be easy for readers to read the contents they present on their blog. Readers don’t have to face any predicament while reading their contents.
In introduction part, simply start with giving the introduction of what you are going to write about.
In a body, present the overall gist of the body. Furthermore, use linking words.
Now coming to conclusion part. It is similar to the introduction. Just paraphrase the whole contents.
5. Subheadings
Break your contents by adding subheading. It will help readers to know about what your writing is about. It is not always the case that your readers will read the whole contents. Most of the time, they scan and skim. So, it is better if you add subheadings.
6. Proofread
Last but not the least, proofread your whole content after you are done with writing a blog post. Nobody is perfect. Even the professional writer makes mistakes. Even if you are a native English speaker or writer, there is a high chance you make several mistakes like grammatical mistakes, punctuation remarks mistakes, spelling mistakes, etc. Therefore, we suggest you proofread at least thrice before hitting a publish button. If you doubt yourself, let others whom you can trust to proofread for you. The fewer mistakes you make, the more quality it will add to your blog post.
